Free NHA Spring Vacation Days during School Break

Spring Vacation Days 2017NANTUCKET, MA – The Nantucket Historical Association (NHA) is pleased to announce the return of Spring Vacation Days, a free community drop-in program for children and their families during April school vacation week. This program features different crafts and activities Monday through Friday from April 17 to 21, 2017, from 1 to 5 P.M. in the Discovery Room at the Whaling Museum, 13 Broad Street. Entrance to the program is through the Discovery Room door on Broad Street.

Join the fun as the Discovery Room catches spring fever, with different take-home crafts daily inspired by “Spring on Nantucket” with a different theme each day, including bicycles, daffodils, rabbits, insects, plants, and more.

“We can’t wait to celebrate the new season with spring-themed crafts,” says Evan Schwanfelder, NHA Manager of Education. “We’ll have plenty to keep kids and families occupied as they shake off the chill of winter and get ready for warmer days ahead!”

The NHA’s Spring Vacation Days program is free for all children and their families. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This program is made possible by a generous grant from the Nantucket Golf Club Foundation.
