Patsy Ernst has a background in early-elementary education and years of needlepoint experience. Her first geometric brick designs were inspired by the patterns of old rugs and the desire to use leftover wools. She has adapted the patterns to the geometry of a brick cover but shapes are not limited to bricks and many designs have evolved. Patsy has instructed at the Ocean Reef League, and one of her needlework custom bricks was featured in the 2012 Boston Designers Show House. This is her 10th season teaching with the NHA 1800 House.
