Painting Historic Nantucket: Plein Air Watercolor with Frank Costantino

Experience the freshness and spontaneity of painting with watercolor outside at Nantucket’s iconic historical sites. This collaboration with the AAN will give you a peek behind the curtain to rarely seen historic gardens and architecture of Nantucket’s classic icons. Each day we will paint at a different NHA site and Frank will begin with daily demonstrations. He will explain the visual choices for subject and view selection; arranging composition, color palette choices; various methods of color mixing; and expressive brush techniques.  All materials provided.

This class is a collaboration with the Artist Association of Nantucket.  You will meet at the Hadwen House Garden, 96 Main Street Nantucket

Maximum class size: 10
