Synthetic gel plates have been around for a little over a decade and are a great inexpensive “press” to use to achieve painterly results with monotype prints. We will work primarily with dried/pressed and fresh leaves in this class. We will print on paper, tissue, and fabric. Gelli Plates allow for complex multi layered prints easily learned by a beginner. The resulting prints can be framed, made into cards, books and lots of other possibilities which will be discussed and demonstrated.
Maximum class size: 10
