In the 1800’s itinerant artists traveled the country teaching stenciling and painting to young women who couldn’t afford to be schooled in the domestic arts any other way.
Join us for a taste of historical folk art with a contemporary flavor. These Santa designs were created by instructor Bee Shay. With them you can create cards, ornaments and framed gifts for the holidays.
We will work on both cotton velveteen in the traditional manner, and watercolor paper. You will have a choice of designs to work with. All materials including one frame included.
Maximum class size: 10
