Darn-It Drop in Gam with DecArts Instructor

Repurposed and repaired garments are not only environmentally responsible, but is also a trend in fashion over last few years.  Taking a page from our grandmothers, who extended life of garments and household textiles by repairing items in discreet ways.  Today these same repairs have become a highlight, and point of interest making whatever you are wearing unique and whimsical.

Learn some tips and tricks on how to approach the hole in your favorite sweater using a variety of simple stitches.   All pieces must be laundered before you begin any repair. Lighter colored garments are better and no cable knits.  Bring items ready to work on with guidance from the Dec Arts Team.  Materials provided.
