With respect to traditional techniques, students will have the opportunity to learn the skills needed to create a unique valentine.  Choose from several different patterns to compose your composition, and using the great selection of materials in your kit, you can create a one-of-a-kind treasure.  Participants will be provided with an 8” handcrafted, octagon-shaped box, seashells, tools, and instructions necessary to make this prized keepsake.  Option for students to upgrade to a 10” valentine box for an additional charge.

Elizabeth Braun has been creating sailors valentines for more than twenty years.  Her work  can be seen at Nantucket Looms.  Her work has blended the early techniques and designs with a contemporary approach to color and texture.
