Theorem Painting on Paper with Melody Best

This classic 19th century art form is experiencing an enthusiastic revival in the 20th century.  Theorem paintings are created with traditional stencils or templates, on watercolor paper or fabric which produce beautiful “ready for framing” paintings suitable to decorate your home or to give as gifts.  In this journey of artistic discovery, work with original 19th century patterns and stencils designed by the instructor.  Paint still lives of colorful baskets of fruit and realistic botanical themes.  Starting from the first day, paint a series of paintings that will acquaint you with the joy and satisfaction of this unique and historically rich painting style.

Melody Best is an award winning theorem painter and botanical artist.  She has exhibited throughout the U.S. and many of her paintings are in private and corporate collections.
