Doug Borkman

Doug Borkman is an expert in metallurgy. He teaches wood and metal shop practice in the RISD BFA and MFA sculpture programs and has previously taught at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts and the Apprenticeshop in Maine. He has worked on many design projects, including the Providence Children’s Museum and the Dunes Club, Narragansett RI, and he has been a consultant for a number of large-scale projects, including a public sculpture for the artist Martin Puryear and the Getty Museum. http://www.douglasborkman.com/
