The Nantucket Historical Association aims to provide meaningful educational opportunities for the entire Nantucket community and beyond. Our island presents unique challenges and opportunities in which to learn from the past, while seeking solutions to contemporary issues.
Our goal is to provide project-based educational experiences for local Nantucket students of all ages, and collaborative projects with college and university students with varied interests, strengths, and goals, allowing all to immerse themselves in an outstanding educational and professional environment. Through these project opportunities, students learn and work directly with professionals at the NHA in a team-based, collaborative environment.
