NHA Celebrates the 2nd Annual “Flower Power” Party

NANTUCKET, MA – The Nantucket Historical Association (NHA) is excited to host the 2nd Annual “Flower Power” Party, held Friday, April 26th, 2019, at the Whaling Museum, 13 Broad Street from 6:00pm-8:30pm.

The “Flower Power” Party kicks off the Nantucket Chamber of Commerce’s Daffodil weekend.  Co-sponsored with the Chamber and N Magazine, the Whaling Museum transforms into a festive spring celebration. This event includes live music by Bearstronaut, hors d’oeuvres by Island Kitchen, a sneak-peek at all the NHA’s new exhibitions, and of course prizes for the “best blooming” outfits.

“We are thrilled to host this fun spring celebration that kicks-off Daffodil Weekend, and in a sense kicks-off the summer season.   This is a perfect way for the public to jump-start and enhance their “Daffy Weekend” experience”, says NHA Events Manager, Shantaw Bloise-Murphy.

The NHA thanks N Magazine and The Nantucket Chamber of Commerce for their co-sponsorship and support.  The NHA also congratulates the Chamber of Commerce for organizing what has become a treasured island tradition each spring. Special thanks also goes to  Island Kitchen and Handy Dallaire Events.

The “Flower Power” Party benefits the Nantucket Historical Association.  Tickets are on sale now.
