NANTUCKET, MA – The Nantucket Historical Association (NHA) is pleased to announce its official schedule and hours for the fall and winter 2016 season.
From November 5 through November 20, 2016, the Whaling Museum will be open on Saturdays and Sundays only from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M.
During the week of Thanksgiving, from Wednesday, November 23, through Sunday, November 27, 2016, the Whaling Museum will be open daily from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. for the 18th Annual Festival of Wreaths.
Please note that the museum will be closed on Thursday, November 24, 2016, for Thanksgiving Day.
From November 28 through December 1, 2016, the Whaling Museum will be closed to the public. The NHA’s annual Festival of Trees Preview Party will take place on Thursday, December 1, 2016, from 6 to 8 P.M.
The museum will reopen to the public on Friday, December 2, 2016, from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. for the 23rd Annual Festival of Trees.
From December 3 to 24, 2016, the Whaling Museum will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M.
Please note that the museum will be closed on Sunday, December 25, 2016 for Christmas Day. From Monday through Thursday, December 26-31, 2016, the museum will be open from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. and will be closed on Sunday, January 1, 2017 for New Year’s Day.
Throughout November and December, the Whaling Museum will continue to offer its daily programming such as the Whale Hunt presentation, the Essex Gam, and daily showings of the signature film Nantucket by Ric Burns.
