Cape Verde in Our Soul
This spring, the NHA presents Cape Verde in Our Soul an exhibition that expands upon our 2021 display, Shoulder on Which We Stand, which explored the Cape Verde–Nantucket connection. This year’s presentation will feature historic photos, mementos, and a mini-theater presenting short films based on recently conducted oral histories from Nantucket’s Cape Verde community.
