The Albert G. Brock Insurance Company was established in Nantucket, Mass., by Albert G. Brock (1862- ) in 1886 as an agency for the New York Life Insurance Company. The business was continued by William Cartwright Brock and later Albert G. Brock II. It was purchased by Cape Cod-based insurance company Rogers & Gray in 2016.
Scope and Content
The Albert G. Brock Insurance Company Records collection includes declarations to medical examiners and medical examiners’ reports. There are also notes that give physical and biological information about the applicants and their parents, as well as a fire box list for ‘Sconset and several calendars from 1986–1990.
