Greater Light Garden

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood off upper Main Street, Greater Light was originally a livestock barn and later converted into a summer home and art studio by eclectic Quaker sisters Gertrude and Hanna Monaghan in the 1930s.

This magical venue is like no other on the island, with twelve-foot, hand-forged iron gates, stunning floor-to-ceiling windows, and a lush secret garden.

Greater Light shines for small outdoor gatherings in the garden.  Perfect for a romantic wedding ceremony, vintage-style tea parties, and more!
