Hadwen House & Garden

The Hadwen House is a Greek-revival mansion built in 1846 for Nantucket whaling merchant and silver retailer William Hadwen.

Host an evening in a space that was once known for its lively celebrations during the golden era of whaling.  The first-floor interior of the home is a wonderful setting for a cocktail party or an intimate dinner.

Tucked away behind this prestigious home is a beautifully-manicured garden nestled amongst the historic mansions of Main Street. The Hadwen House Garden is the perfect outdoor venue for elegant wedding ceremonies, garden parties, dinners, and picnics.
