NHA interpreters portray historic Nantucket women over the course of four centuries, bringing these characters to life through heartfelt readings of their original letters, memoirs, and through song. As members of a unique island community, Nantucket’s people have made their own way in the world. This is particularly true of the women who have lived here. Men and women had to work side by side to make the fledgling settlement survive.
