Fiesta at the Whaling Museum

Join us for Fiesta at the Whaling Museum!


Enjoy an afternoon of:

  • Music and dance performances
  • Cultural crafts
  • The traditional Mexican game, Lotería
  • El Salvadoran food specialties will be served by island favorite The Trading Post
  • Children’s story time in Spanish and English by the Nantucket Atheneum.

Partner organizations will also partake in this community-wide occasion to celebrate Hispanic heritage with all FREE programming!

Nantucket Dreamland will host a community screening of the film En el Séptimo Día (On the Seventh Day) following Fiesta at the Whaling Museum at 7 pm.

Linda Loring Nature Foundation will have a Spanish version of their children’s story walk available at their visitor center throughout November.

 

The Nantucket Historical Association preserves and interprets the history of Nantucket through its programs, collections, and properties, in order to promote the island’s significance and foster an appreciation of it among all audiences.
