Food for Thought: From the Ground Up, Farming Nantucket with Aidan Feeney

Aidan will share his journey in agriculture, his philosophy behind regenerative and organic farming, and offer strategies for achieving maximum success.

Aidan Feeney is an organic farmer, growing vegetables on Nantucket Island at Fog Town Farm. He runs the farm with his wife Natasha, as well as several employees. Raised on Nantucket, Aidan left the island in 2008 to begin his education and career in agriculture. He has worked on a wide variety of farms, ranging from grass fed beef and dairy operations to organic fruit and vegetable farms. In 2019, Aidan and Natasha came to Nantucket to start Fog Town Farm. In addition to growing high quality produce, Aidan is passionate about learning and sharing agricultural techniques and advocating for more small farms, food sovereignty and the development of local food culture.

The Nantucket Historical Association preserves and interprets the history of Nantucket through its programs, collections, and properties, in order to promote the island’s significance and foster an appreciation of it among all audiences.
