Food for Thought: Identifying and Recording Birds Through a New Lens with Photographer Skyler Kardell

Skyler Kardell is the Coastal Steward for the Tuckernuck Land Trust. His photography has been featured in several local newspapers, as well as National Geographic. He is a contributing writer for Bird Observer, and an avid eBird user, and a soon-to-be freshman at Connecticut College. Skyler’s favorite spot to go birding is Jackson Point, a place where he can often be found just before sunrise.

The Nantucket Historical Association preserves and interprets the history of Nantucket through its programs, collections, and properties, in order to promote the island’s significance and foster an appreciation of it among all audiences.
