Walking Past Fear: a 33-Day, 518-Mile Pilgrimage Through Spain

Journey along the legendary Camino de Santiago de Compostela with writer Rebecca Chapa.  Also known as the Way of Saint James this ancient route has been traveled by pilgrims for centuries.  Why would someone choose to leave their comfort zone and set out on the road?  Rebecca will speak about the things she lost and things found and explain your destination is not always at the end of the road.

Rebecca Chapa is a wine writer and educator and a contributor to the Global Encyclopedia of Wine.  Her blog www.rebeccachapa.com explores wine, food, travel and culture.  In the summer she is the proprietor and lead line cook at The Hungry Minnow and she spends winters as a Nantucket Historical Association Interpreter and Museum Gift Shop Manager.  She has lived on Nantucket since 2013 and is also a singer songwriter.

The Nantucket Historical Association preserves and interprets the history of Nantucket through its programs, collections, and properties, in order to promote the island’s significance and foster an appreciation of it among all audiences.
