Bones of History Film
While sitting in Gosnell Hall, learn about the history of the whale skeleton hanging just above you. This film tells the story of what happened when the body of sperm whale washed ashore in the ‘90s and how the community and the NHA got involved.

The Nantucket Historical Association preserves and interprets the history of Nantucket through its programs, collections, and properties, in order to promote the island’s significance and foster an appreciation of it among all audiences.
