Festival of Trees Family Night featuring Nantucket’s Irish Step Dancers

Join us for a family evening of magic at the 2021 Festival of Trees, the NHA’s highly anticipated holiday tradition that transforms the Whaling Museum into a festive winter wonderland. With your family and friends, enjoy this year’s forest of holiday trees, creatively, ingeniously, and generously decked out by members of our Nantucket community. The lights will be low and spirits high!

Special entertainment will be provided by Nantucket’s own talented and spirited group of young Irish Step Dancers in two performances at 4:30pm and 5:15pm.

Enjoy a take-home craft as a parting holiday gift.

Free to the public. Registration is required.

Griffin Saves His Tree

Join us for a special reading with author Maria Zodda in the Candle Factory at 4pm and 5pm.

Maria will read the tale of the mighty elm tree from her new book. Learn about Nantucket’s elm trees, some of the oldest trees on the island. Meet Elvira Elm and her woodland friends as she tells a few tree jokes and shares facts about her island relatives.

Griffin Saves His Tree is sponsored by the Nantucket Land Council.

The Festival of Trees is made possible through the generous support of our sponsors.
