Night Watch! Sleep Overnight in the Museum!

For families with children ages 8-11
Note: one adult MUST accompany every 2 children

Join us for first ever PUBLIC overnight as we take our popular Night Watch program beyond the traditional audience.  Learn what it was like to be part of a crew on a whaling voyage to accomplish tasks through teamwork and gain whale stamps.  You’ll learn and sing sea shanties, make a craft popular to Nantucket whalers, have a snack break on “Luau Island” and get to sleep in the Museum!

Cost:
$60 (member rate) for 1 parent, 1 child
$80 (non-member rate) for 1 parent, 1 child
$20 for an additional child (general rate)
(Fees go towards supplies for activities, snacks, and breakfast.)

Limited space for this program makes it a unique opportunity to learn more about the history of Nantucket and the Island’s role in the history of whaling.

The Nantucket Historical Association preserves and interprets the history of Nantucket through its programs, collections, and properties, in order to promote the island’s significance and foster an appreciation of it among all audiences.
