Pride Zine-Making at Greater Light

Join us at Greater Light (8 Howard Street) for a vibrant celebration of Pride Month and a creative Zine-making session! This inclusive event welcomes individuals of all ages to come together and express their creativity!

Step into the charming surroundings of Greater Light and immerse yourself in an atmosphere of artistic exploration. We are excited to collaborate with Creative Reuse, who will provide an array of materials to ignite your imagination and allow you to craft your own zine work of art.

Zines, short for “magazines,” are self-published mini-books that serve as a canvas for personal expression. They have been a powerful tool for marginalized communities to share their stories, ideas, and perspectives. In the spirit of Pride Month, we invite you to use this medium to showcase your unique voice, celebrate diversity, and promote inclusivity.

No prior zine-making experience is necessary! Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be on hand to offer guidance and inspiration.

This FREE event is open to everyone, and light snacks will be provided by Pip & Anchor, so bring your friends, family, and allies for an afternoon of art, community, and Pride!

This program is presented in partnership with:
