“The Ocean’s Skin” with Philip Hoare

NHA welcomes author Philip Hoare for a lecture drawing on his latest book, RISINGTIDEFALLINGSTAR. A professor of Creative Writing at the University of Southampton, UK and curator of Moby-Dick Big Read (a free online audio version of Melville’s book), Hoare looks at the ways in which we relate to the sea’s natural history; it’s whales, birds, as well as its myths.
