Greater Light garden view through wrought iron gates.This interpretive presentation by Beverly Hall honors the creative legacy of Gertrude and Hanna Monaghan. Performed in the beautiful Greater Light garden, Beverly portrays Hanna, sharing memories of how she and her sister transformed an historic cow and pig barn into an iconic summer sanctuary and art studio.

The Nantucket Historical Association preserves and interprets the history of Nantucket through its programs, collections, and properties, in order to promote the island’s significance and foster an appreciation of it among all audiences.
