“We All Speak Moby-Dick”: A Multilingual Reading Event

“We All Speak Moby-Dick” celebrates the diversity of the island through literature and this year we are proud to have a team of eight Nantucket High School student interns, who will be planning this exciting community program!

This program features readings of select chapters of Moby-Dick in multiple languages.  Participants will be assigned sections in a language of their choosing and read for 5-10 minutes.

The program also offers a kid-friendly reading, as well as Moby-Dick themed crafts, along with cultural dance performances and international snacks.

Este programa incluye lecturas de capítulos seleccionados de la novela Moby-Dick en lenguajes variados. Participantes serán apuntado secciones en el lenguaje de su  selección y leerán por 5-10 minutos.

Este programa también ofrece lectura amigables para los niños, incluso artesanía de Moby-Dick.
